![]() For a while I was more fan of the league, and tbh didn't watch that many Celtics games because they weren't very good. I bought 2k14 and the love of the game was really solidified after that. As a huge sports fan, I deemed this unacceptable. I realized that he was the #1 pick in the draft, and I had no idea who he was, nor had I ever heard of him. Funny enough, what actually brought me back into the sport was seeing Kyrie Irving in the Uncle Drew video. Watched the finals and even went to a game late in the season, but after that I sorta just lost interest in basketball as a whole. I followed a bit in 08, liked the team and rooting for Boston but didn't really have a passion for basketball. Players now come and go, but the management has been consistent. Honestly, I think it's new ownership and a great GM that has made the biggest difference, and brought the franchise back to prominence. early it was Walker and Pierce, later the new big three. Pitino was hired and traded away Billups. Len Bias broke my heart, and set us up for a huge decline. 10's of thousands of people crammed in there screaming their lungs out. ![]() ![]() and we were undefeated!ฤก980's Celtics/Lakers finals, game 7's at the Gahhhden. Had a nerf basketball hoop in the basement. It's on youtube, definitely not hi-def though! This is a time before cable/ESPN, and Celtics were always on tv on Sunday afternoons. ![]() I was 8 years old and had to beg my parents to let me stay up to watch the ending. ![]()
